Should I create a bespoke CV for every pilot or flight school application?
Definitely! We would strongly recommend creating a bespoke pilot CV for each and every airline or flight school application. This helps you stand out against the other pilots applying for the role and helps the pilot recruiters more easily recognise why your experience would make you the ideal pilot candidate!
Is a templated pilot CV ok?
If it’s your own pilot CV design and template, then this is absolutely fine! However, we would strongly recommend not using any services that offer to write your pilot CV for you. Airline recruiters can recognise this and it doesn’t look good! Give yourself the best chance on landing your dream flight deck job and work hard to create a really stand-out pilot CV!
What kind of skills should I list on my pilot CV?
You should carefully consider the skills and qualities you have that would make you an asset in the role of a pilot and to any airline that you are applying to.
